Transylvanian Folk Dance Musicians’ Meeting

Since 2006, this annual meeting has grown into a free university of sorts. While the first meeting had 60 musicians, today it has over 120 participants. Along with shared music-making experiences, the event also includes high-quality professional presentations, roundtable discussions, masterclasses, and gala performances. Its success has led to similar events being organized in Southern Transylvania, Budapest, Transcarpathia, and Slovakia.

Charity Concerts

The association supports elderly folk musicians, many of whom do not receive pensions and struggle with health issues that prevent them from earning a living. We organize programs and concerts to help them financially.

Musical Szeklerland

A series of performances held in the counties of Szeklerland as part of the “Szeklerland Days” event series.

Masterclasses

Primarily for folk music teachers, we offer methodological training.

Sound KEEPERS

The “Sound Keepers” series presents over 60 talented young folk singers from Transylvania, and recently, we’ve been producing short films about bands to promote and showcase them.

The traditions of the former village folk musicians are now carried on by dance musicians, who authentically convey this old music.
